Description
The Ariel is Doria 1905's quintessential women's hat. It is a reinterpretation of our Droplette but in a cut/sew style. This hat is made of canvas, a fabric with a coarse weave, whose origins are lost in antiquity. Over the centuries it has undergone many improvements in the twisting of the threads and has adapted its manufacture to different fibres, cotton being one of them. This fabric is also widely used in the nautical sector.
Ariel's canvas is khaki beige in colour and is subsequently treated with a polyurethane vitrified membrane which gives it a satin effect and good rain resistance. The grosgrain stitched belt completes the timeless style.
