Description
Known as an exclusively male headgear, the fedora actually became iconic thanks to a woman. In the last two decades of the 19th century, Sarah Bernhardt, a famous theatre actress, played the protagonist in a French opera called Fedora. Her stage costume featured a cone-shaped hat with a slanted brim. The opera was a triumph and the hat was considered a true style icon.
The Katerina is a wide-wing fedora hat made of precious lapin felt with a 'special velour' finish in graphite grey. The high grosgrain satin belt in toffee colour gives the hat a good highlight. The inner lining is made of chocolate-brown satin and the morocco is made of sheepskin. A luxury hat for special occasions and very chic looks.
