Its name comes from a dialect corruption of the word for hemp, the fibre this fabric was originally made from. Over the centuries the twisting of the yarns has been refined and the weave adapted to other fibres, above all cotton. It is also widely used in the nautical world.
The Rudol is made with true tailoring skill, through several artisanal stages: hand cutting, pressing done by the hands of our Salento artisans rather than by press machines, and a final blocking on wood. The solid brass D logo and the topstitching enhance the finished piece and light it up. Its unstructured construction also makes it practical and hand-washable, a quality few hats can claim.

For any returned product, you can request a refund or a free replacement for any reason. You can return the purchased goods by shipping them back at your own expense within 14 days of the date of receipt.
Returns are easy and always free: simply repack the product in the package received, send an email to shop@doria1905.com and wait for the label to attach to the package.
