Our Felix is a reworking of the classic coppola a piatto: the fabric from which it is made is a precious Scottish bouclé pattern in variegated shades of lapis, bauxite and rope and is supplied to us by historic Biella manufacturer Ferla.
The workmanship of this cap is highly sartorial and still follows traditional techniques, starting with manual cutting , followed by several steps of tailoring and ending with ironing on wooden forms. This historic craftsmanship know-how is joined by technical innovations that aid and accompany the hands of our Salento artisans during processing. It is precisely this synergy, this balanced synthesis of tradition and innovation that gives Doria caps that internationally recognized "hand" and mood, a true specialty and specificity of the brand.
Felix is a modern interpretation of the most classic of beanies, the coppola flat and Irish that come together to create a wrap-around, sporty shape crowned by the metallic logo pin.
