Description
The Rudol is our unlined fabric bucket hat, obviously 100% handmade. It is made of a vibrant canvas fabric (or canvas cloth in origin) in the colour military green, a coarse weave fabric whose origins are lost in antiquity.
Its name derives from a dialectal mispronunciation of the name hemp, with which it was originally produced. Over the centuries it has undergone various improvements in the twisting of the threads and has adapted its processing to different fibres, one above all cotton. It is also a fabric widely used in the nautical field.
Rudol has a very sartorial workmanship made up of various handcrafted stages such as manual cutting, ironing without the aid of press machines but carried out by the hands of our artisans in Salento, and the final step of forming on wood. the D logo in pure brass and the stitching enhance the final result and illuminate the garment. The unstructured workmanship also makes it practical and hand-washable. A plus that few headwear can boast of having.
