Description
The Boris is a bucket hat, also known as a fisherman's hat or fisherman cap, definitely one of the models of the moment. This headgear is made of canvas (or cloth originally). The name derives from a dialectal mispronunciation of the name hemp, with which it was originally made. Over the centuries, it has undergone many improvements in the twisting of the threads and has been adapted to different fibres, one of which is cotton.
Boris' canvas fabric is khaki beige in colour and is subsequently treated with a polyurethane vitrified membrane. It is this that gives the hat its good resistance, as well as a satin effect. The metal Doria 1905 logo pin completes the style.
